Mountain West Montessori welcomes Diamond Catering!
Lunch at our school is a wonderful sensorial, social, and cultural experience! This process has many important qualities for the development of the whole child: Children are learning to eat different nutritionally balanced meals, learning to be open to different tastes and cultures, becoming aware of the many grace and courtesy lessons that eating together provides (table manners), becoming independent, and absorbing the basic social relation rules that eating together offer! This program unique to our school offers many wonderful and valuable opportunities for growth. We have searched and found a service that meets the requirements, not only by the State but that is sensitive to all the values we are searching to promote! ALL CHILDREN (including half-day dismissal) must purchase the yearly lunch program in order to participate in the Community lunch (for 10 payments of $65 dlls per year, payable to Mt. West Montessori, starting with the August 1st tuition).This payment includes refreshments and snacks for Grandparents Day, Carnival Day, and one other celebrations of choice! Also, parents will be invited to share a sit down meal at school with your child during the school year! The Guide will send you an invitation with time in advance.
